David Jardine (brother of Dr. William Jardine of Jardine Matheson & Co.)
and Rachel Johnson and their children Jessie, James, Robert and Rachel.
Robert Jardine would later become head of Jardine Matheson.

Shields occupation was listed as "stranger". The only
other people living at Moorhousehead in the 1841 Census
were Robert Hastie (15) and James Lockerbie (14) at the
Moorhousehead Outhouse.
